After Eragon, I plan to read the other four books in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy-in-five-parts.

I read LoTR when i was 8. You should be ashamed.

That's rude. Just because someone is reading a book tht came out when you were younger, does'nt mean that they are dumb. YOU should be ashamed for saying such a rude thing.

Anyway... I am currently reading ... Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix.

Yes, Hel, flaming is bad.

The second book in the Hitchhiker "trilogy" is very popular; everyone at the library wants it; I might have to buy it.

I want to so badly read the hitckhiker "trilogy."

We call it flame baiting, and if you try again. I'll kick, scream and drag you down.

I'm more of a writer than a reader. Though I'll be getting the final Harry Potter book when it's released later this year.

Yes I am planning on getting it also, the sales are already breaking the records. Millions already pre-ordered it.

That's super, but anyone can enjoy Lord of the Rings at whatever speed or age they wish. The fact that you read it at age 8 is hardly impressive as you probably put as much deep thought into as you did in toy soldiers. If you feel the need to put people down for what they read, you should probably realise that people read books to gain knowledge or out of leisure. I'm not sure why you bring it upon yourself to insult people for reading what's considered an important epic in Fantasy literature, but it's not welcome here.

Moving on, I finished Candide in a short time and now I'm off reading a biography about the American president, Ronald Reagan. It's hard to read it since he reminds me so much of Bush.

Let's not get into one of those ugly flame wars here... :?

I'm now reading Eragon, Don Quixote, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and an unabridged edition of Pilgrim's Progress, which is heavily bogged down with woeful Old English word order, articles, and writing technique.

However, I have been slightly accustomed to this by speaking in an Old English fashion numerous times in RuneScape (An action that puzzled numerous people) so reading it isn't as laborious as it normally would be.

I also plan to read Eldest after I finish Eragon.

Always wanted to read Pilgrim's Progress, never found the time nor will to buy it. The Resteraunt at the End of the Universe is an excellent book however.

I've been reading Wheel of Time. I'm about, half way through book 9 at the moment. I read book one, about 5 years ago, and until i got to book 4, didn't really read them constantly (maybe one a year). Now i read one every 4-5 months. I really enjoy them, problem is, that as I don't read them, like, one after the other, and consistantly read one, i forgot bits, and wonder who people are, lol. it's really annoying, but normally they remind you, or at elast if it the next book. Lol.
