Things rise in price after a while... And then they lower... Then they rise, and so on.

You must have been around when they were cheap.

So many people playing rs now that just want money.
It is hard to train skills now without going broke = (

Hopefully they will go back down, but I dont hink so.

When something is in more demand, the price can skyrocket. Starts off as someone paying alittle extra becuase they dont want to wait along time to find a seller, then another person offers a little more, then people just sell a little higher all the time. :?

Yeah, I'm paying 330 ea for yew logs now. Before I got banned I could get away with 250 ea...

I can't afford to buy bow strings either, I'm having to buy flax and spin it myself if I don't want to lose money =/

You freakin' read my mind. When I went onto forums to buy Yew Longs on my pure I was really mad cuz the price went from 550 - 580 each.

580 + 320 = 900

Ok, so that's 900k right there for 1k Yew Longs and Natures.

900,000 - 768,000 = 132,000

So now we lose 132k instead of the original 102k. Pretty soon it will be cheaper to use Cosmics and enchant in the Mage Mini-Game in the Duel Arena.

Those greedy merchants felt like raising the prices until now there is no profit in fletching the bows then alching them.

The Yew logs have gone from 250-280 to 300-350.
The Nats have gone from 300 to 320-350
The Bow string has gone from 150 to 200.

You might as well buy the strung bows and alch them, you only lose a 132k profit as opposed to the 92k profit loss by fletching them.

actually, its almost cheaper just to alch in the arena. You get more xp, + points to buy inf armor. And you only have to buy the nats

Think of runescape items as rubber ducks.
Put them in a bathtub and they'll bob around a bit. The water is the demand, and how high the duck is, is the price.

Jagex will shoot the duck eventually, leaving it to sink in self-pity.

The problem is that most people prefer to stand on one spot and just click, click again, wait a while, then click again.

Instead of running around a room getting items out of cupboards alching them against the time.
