I kinda doubt it. :|

Soccer games in America are hardly televised, compared to other sports. Hell, I see more bowling tournaments of TV than soccer. Without a good media base, it'll take alot more than one player to popularize the sport here more.

Do Americans even know who he is?

He's a moron for going there, clearly his careers coming to an end, what with his ever increasing age and hes trying to cling on.

Never liked him, thought he was a complete moron, never liked his wife and his kids have stupid names. Their the type of people i would prefer to see in a gutter, cause they certainly don't deserve what they have.

Why on EARTH he would go to a crap american football team is beyond me, my only guess is he's just trying to cling onto his ever dieing career, clearly couldn't keep up with the players in Spain.

Yeah it wont change much, its not even covered on sports center that much, i heard he got paid 250mil to come play for Los Angles, thats outrageous.

There is no LA Football team in America and he couldn't have gotten 250 million, that would almost exceed the whole teams salary cap.

Soccor = Football in other countries. This may be confusing as America has Soccor and Football-(seperate sport)

He got paid a lot of money to play here, but I dont think it will help much. To many american football lovers here

They should call it .... Foot-or-head-or-goalkeeper's-hands-ball.

And throw-ins.

As for beckham moving, I don't care. I stopped liking football when I was 5.
