i guess because it is true for both granite legs and shield to be superior in ranged defense and inferior in all other stats that nobody really noticed...

rune platebody stats:
offensive : stab + 0, slash + 0, crush + 0, magic - 30, range - 10
defensive: stab + 82, slash + 80, crush + 72, magic - 6, range + 80
other : strength + 0, prayer + 0

granite body stats:
offensive : stab + 0, slash + 0, crush + 0, magic - 22, range - 5
defensive: stab + 87, slash + 84, crush + 79, magic - 6, range + 97
other : strength + 0, prayer + 0

improvements:
offensive : stab + 0, slash + 0, crush + 0, magic + 8, range + 5
defensive: stab + 5, slash + 4, crush + 7, magic + 0, range + 17
other : strength + 0, prayer + 0

yeah >.>
what more can i say..?

so, umm, who actually knew this, who assumed it followed suit with other granite, and whatever else you want to say, if anything.

No difference for me, since I use Dharok plate/legs

And no, don't tell me to get Torags, because dharok and torags have exact same defence on plate and legs.

Back on topic, yeah Granite's better than rune, and hell, it looks much better with a fury ammy on than when a fury ammy on rune plate.

True. they have worst stats than others and there no point in having quest for rune pl8 and none for d chain lol.

i knew that granite plate is better tho it needs 50 def.... dont forget that rune platebody is 40 def armor it its good as it is

i honestly think that granite legs are way over priced and that yes it might be better but 4m for a pair of legs good lord man and yes i like the granite bodys better

Hmmm... rune need def 40 and granite def 50. Defence bonuses doesnt have lot of difference. Its the best f2p too. I know they are a little bit price difference, but it isnt high.

Yeah I knew that. Thats why I used to use a granite shield. But the difference is so little it doens't really matter, besides range, but theres not alot of monsters that use range. And isn't granite heavier?

I agree with Nmr, the differences are so small, I will be happy to keep my rune plate until a dragon chain falls into my lap. :lol:
