Being 18 was so 4 months ago. Out of curiosity though, is there any advantages of being 18 in america? The only thing here in England is i can vote and drink, lol. And i know you can't drink there till 21.

smoke, vote and your eligable for the draft.

What's the draft?
You can smoke at any age in the UK, it's just illegal to buy them until you're 16. They're getting banned completely early next year though, thank God.

Smoking is being banned completly? :-s

I doubt it somehow lol, i also don't believe it's legal to smoke at any age. 16+ is the legal age to purchase and smoke, as far as i know.

Not completely, sorry. Just in enclosed public places: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6198214.stm.

I can't find anything that says "You can't smoke if you're under 16" it's all "You can't buy cigarettes if you're under 16". I've always thought you could smoke at any age.

Congrulations!

I think the best thing turning 18 is to get to vote. Unfortunately, I'll miss out on the election that year when I turn 18 :(
