First of all, bear with me as I cannot get pictures at the moment...

INTRODUCTION TO HUNTING
----------------------------------
Hunting is the newest skill added to runescape. It is non-combat, and very fun (if I do say so myself.) Hunting consists of trapping, netting, and tracking brand new animals.

GETTING STARTED
----------------------
Our adventure starts in The player's choice of either Yanille, or Nardah.
There is a shop you may have come across in some Treasure Trails, or on your way to visit a friend in his/her house. There is now an icon depicting a stretched animal skin. Go iside the building and talk to one of the men inside.

BIRD SNARING
------------------
Buy a bird snare and west until you reach the ogres and achey trees. Then make your way south past the wolves and into the jungle. Travel all the way east until you reach a beach and set up your bird snare.
You may need to set up your snare a few times before you catch one, but don't quit.

When you catch one, the drop automatically puts itself into your inventory. You may want to bring a few logs, tinderbox, and spit roaster thingy if you want some cooking xp but I didn't bother. The different birds drop different feathers.
LEVEL REQUIRED
1 Crimson swift= red feathers
5 Golden warbler= orange feathers
9 Copper longtail= brown feathers
11 Cerulean twitch= blue feathers
19 Tropical wagtail= stripy feathers (which can be used to catch the rainbow-fish at any fly-fishing location)

The birds also drop bird meat and bones.

TRACKING CREATURES
---------------------------
Tracking new animals such as kebbits and weasels can be quite entertaining. You will need a noosing wand and cooking gear( same as birds) if you want to cook the leftover meat.

First you search one of the burrows, and follow the tracks. Search around where the traps end and repeat. I had to search about 3 or 4 each time before I found the animal. you then inspect the plant/unusual clump of pixels and see if the may be something inside. Now equip your noosing wand ( If you don't, you will send the animal flying ) and click attack on the bush.

LEVEL REQUIRED
1 Polar kebbit= drops polar kebbit hide
3 Common kebbit= drops common kebbit hide
7 Feldip weasel= drops Feldip weasel hide
13 Desert devil= drops Desert devil hide
49 Razorbacked kebbit= drops a kebbit spike which can be made into bolts for the hunters crossbow ( level 50 ranged )

All animals of this class drop raw beast meat and bones.

DEADFALL
------------
Now for deadfall. This one has become one of my favorites. ( I guess i like crushing small animals lol )

What you need for this is an axe, and a knife.

First you cut your logs and click on the boulder when it says SET TRAP.
Then you wait for the kebbit to crawl under it and get crushed. Then you click CHECK on the rock.
LEVEL REQUIRED
23 Wild kebbit= Bones, kebbit claws( use with vambraces for +2 strength )
33 Barbtailed kebbit= Bones, barb-tailed harpoon ( harpoon you can wield )
37 Prickly kebbit= Bones, kebbit spike ( used with Hunter's Bow )
51 Sabretooth kebbit= Bones, kebbit teeth ( grind up to make Hunter's potion )
More to come :P

Umm... People can get this information from the Runescape Knowledge Base.
I don't know why you have to create a guide when Runescape practically already has a guide for us to use.

This guide needs alot of work. As SuperMage said, any of this information can be accessed from the KB. Before any of the older members come ranting to me saying that is the point of guides, it isn't.

To start off, I would say you need;

Tables
Colour coding
Pictures
More information on animal by-products.
Locations
Leveling strategies.
Hunter clothing.
Short term and long term benefits.
Quests (Eagles Peak-Still in production)
Relation to other skills.
Exp rates.
Brief over-view.
Time saving strategies
Inventory space saving strategies
bait types.
etc.

I would however, be more than happy to help you with this.

P.S, It is called Hunter.
