To 80 Woodcutting

I can't decide between willows or yews... Right now I chop yews outside of varrock and I would chop willows at draynor. The willows I chop would be just enough for me to get my firemaking goal. THX

I would choose willows if you're going to burn them anyways.

Willows are much faster then yews to lvl up

Sounds good. I am guessing that Draynor is the best place for f2p.. unless anyone else has other suggestions.

If you're going to burn them I suggest north of the crafting guild. Take a tinderbox with you.

Draynor is really crowded.

People only go draynor if they're banking the logs if you gonna cut 27, burn them... Go somewhere else

Isnt it faster to bank the logs then burn them once i have all? I thought choppin/burning was slower to lvl

Same speed IMO, the only difference is you're either bulk burning them or burning as you go along. I strongly suggest you make sure you have the patience to bulk-burn, because 10k logs can be eye-bleedingly boring to burn (plus at draynor it's not that difficult to rack up 10k willow logs if you constantly bank.)

I trained woodcutting and firemaking around Varrock towards the later levels (75+ prefered) because you can burn a full invent of yews in one straight line in-between the three trees there plus it's almost always empty, except for a few stragglers so you can chop away in peace.

I think I'm gonna get the 7k willows and then burn them all at once.

If you do that, you'll think you get lvls faster, but in the end, it might take you like 3-5 more hours than if you burn/cut. Maybe even more.

Burning/Cutting seems slower, but you train both skills at the same time, and you won't have to go to a crowded place to cut them.

I suggest Port Sarim's wcing spot, got a lot of lvls there.

If you want money you would do yews, really fast levels willows. If you burn the logs I think you should cut in Rimmington and then burn on the spot. If you want to have lots of time to multi task, cut all at once then burn. That way it seems you have more multi tasking time.

Like nmr said, I need the multi tasking time because of homework. Ill chop about half the logs I need and bank and then the other half I'll bank/burn.

If your cutting the logs willows are faster firemaking XP. If your buying them yews are faster but alot more expensive.

yeah, willows are faster experience than yews. Though most people like to chop yews anyway because more than experience comes out of it.
