I'm quitting Tae Kwon Do after afew things started happening. Seriously, I"m quitting before my blue belt test.

- I have problems participating in the warm up excersizes. Reason, I was diagnosed with very bad asthma for awhile and I brought a doctor's note to the master and she WON'T ACCEPT IT! She said "If you can't do it, go home!" I mean, my problem is so bad that I could get sent to the emergency ward in a shiny white ambulance if I am about to die! Sending a student to the hospital is bad on the school's reputation...

- Broken finger accident. I was holding targets for my partner to kick and he kicked SOOOOO HARD that the target nearly flew out of my hand! I didn't let go of the kicking target because I just didn't want to. While trying to keep hold of the target, I BROKEN MY FINGER BECAUSE I DIDN'T LET GO!

- School. I have too much dang homework! I don't do much of it at school so I end up doing it at home therefore leavning no time for tae kwon do.

They shouldn't send students to the hospital when they get hurt your saying because it will ruin the reputation?

No, they would if it was an emergency. It's just they try to avoid it as much as possible.

Eh, doesn't the teacher have to accept doctor notes? I hate people who are **** up like that. A blind person got on a bus here and asked the driver to tell him when its his stop. The bus gets to the transit station and the driver yells "GET OUT! ITS THE END OF THE LINE!". The blind person asks where they were, driver says "END OF THE LINE IDIOT!" and takes him and pushes him out basically.

Do you do ITF or WTF Taekwon-do? My sis is a Green-Tip in ITF Taekwon-do, she has sprained her ankles twice, sprained her fingers, and stretched a tendon on the back of her right hand. And at a tournament she was sparring, was 11 points ahead when the second round was over and she still lost. And she got 2 deductions for moves that were full legal. And she's still going strong, she's gonna get a job, she does homework, and she still fits Taekwon-do into her timetable. She reckons she's gonna keep going til 9th dan. :D

I got a better school then :)

During rugby (without protective clothing) I got knocked down. I lost consciousness and when I woke up I couldn't remember a thing for the first 10 minutes. The teachers got pretty scared during those 10 minutes.

If you want to stay in martial arts try and take judo. You almost NEVER get hurt. It rules.
