not that im away of...anyways, Light does not attract gravity. Also, Scientists have been able to get molecules CLOSE to the speed of light, but it impossible to reach an infinite mass, therefore impossible to reach the speed of light as anything but a photon or any other subatomic particle with a mass, or even get faster. As far as scientists are away, no particles can travel faster then the speed of light. When you take a look at the forumla for time dialation (which does work, its been proven, given by Albert Einstien) and u put in a speed faster then the speed of light, here is your result (the time dialation effect): here is the work for exactly C and C+1:

For exactly C
(1/sqrt(1-(v^2/c^2))) = (1/sqrt(1-(299,792,458^2/299,792,458^2))) =
(1/sqrt(1-1)) = (1/sqrt(0)) = 1/0 = no real answer (divide by zero)

For C+1
(1/sqrt(1-(v^2/c^2))) = (1/sqrt(1-(299,792,459^2/299,792,458^2))) =
(1/sqrt(1-1.000000006713)) = (1/sqrt(-6.67`3*10^(-9))) = no real answer (negative radical)[/u]

So, as you can see here, that it is IMPOSSIBLE to travel more then the speed of light due to the fact that the mass contraction of any object travelling a speed is Mf= Mi*(t1) where t1 is the time dialation calculation, so you can see that Mf = M*t1, but, since t1 is a non-real answer, it would then create a non-real answer, making it an impossible mass

Which is why we will 'extend' the speed of light. I have a book on time traveling...

Just a little "History Lesson"

I'm guessing when we discover time travel, the world will come to the end.

They will be able to change history, and it might be a bad choice.

Nice find Helios. However, because one type of tiny Sub-Atomic particle can travel time, how does this affect us.

Ah.

If we want to be silly about things, technically you travel 2 hours back in time when you fly concord to America from England.

Because America is on average, 7 hours ahead of theUK, if you leave the UK at precisely 2pm, you would reach America at roughly 12 noon. This is because Concorde takes a tiny 5 hours to travel at it's super-sonic speed between the countries, thus meaning you travel back in time, when you're supposed to travel ahead in it.

But, yes Besadon, that is an interesting piece of info.

ok, Besa, helios is wrong, lol. I just read a several page article on neutrinos, and NEVER do they mention it being able to travel back in time, as for that to happen, it would have to go faster then the speed of light, which it does not, as it has a mass slightly less then that of light. The reason a neutrino can go through mass so easily is because it is a quark, and it can easily travel through the atoms in any object. Scientists claim that it takes approx. 10^16m of lead to stop even HALF of the neutrinos. For it to travel through the earth would be quite easy, as it would take about 8 earths to stop even half of the neutrinos, so, going through only 12,756.3km, lol. So, as the neutrino has more mass then light, it cannot go back in time, lol. Theory disproved.

Yet he came from the future to debug an old computer. He would have to know what type of system and everything is in there so it's kinda of engineering. LIES
