The new capes...

A moderator can lock this, since they came out, and aren't anything like these. I'll keep the ideas around, anyway...

It said that they'd give a bonus. What do you think they'll be?

Smithing: Dragon armor (not likely) or use less coal.
Mining: Ability to buya dragon pickaxe.
Woodcutting: Cut magics faster (currently, level doesn't matter)
Firemaking: Auto light.
Fletching: Don't know.
Fishing: Possibly catch 2 fish at a time.
Cooking: Stop burning stuff.
Attack: Increses accuracy by 20%.
Strength: Increases damage by 20%.
Defence: Increases defence by 20%.
Hit points: Hitpoints regenerate 3x as fast.
Thieving: Very small chance of getting caught.
Farming: Get much more items from farming.
Magic: New set of spells.
Prayer: Prayer drains half as fast.
Slayer: You get to pick your slayer assignment (lmao, pointless, yes).
Herblore: Get 4 doeses instead of 3.
Crafting: Don't know.
Runecrafting: Replace pure essance with regular essance.
Quests: A new quest.

when they say it'll give a bonus, it'll prolly mean like a +3 bonus to magic or to str or wutever 99 skill u have... and for wc,mining,smithing and cooking, itll raise the success rate up prolly...not make new things available...and for all quests... itll prolly be like a +5 to everything...

LOVE the idea, mainly the slayer one. lol the cape shood have like all equiptment in it, such as dust mask, slayer boots, gloves, mirror shiled etc. new quests sounds good, mabey the LONGEST HARDEST quest ever?, but yeah, good ideas.

Good work on the predictions! Only one question: what's the use of turning all pure ess into rune ess? I think it might be something like :

Runecrafting- Instant teleport to altars w/o going through the Abyss.

Much more beneficial, methinks.

Well, it makes it so that regular essence works as pure essence, meaning that you can make nature runes, law runes, etc. with regular essence.

Crafting... could be ... not having to tan hides, or being able to tan your own hides.

Fletching... could be... faster 'fletch x' logs, or a 'string x' option.

And for quests... just unlocking a new quest would be pretty lame.

Hopefully it'd be the best cape in the game overall for stat bonuses or something. Doing all the quests requires a ton of work and well-rounded skills.

Well, they came out, and they only make your lvl go to 100.... Kinda lame but I guess they are only for show....
