Okies this is a thread where everyone can post their favourite band and maybe why they like em.

I'lll start :D

Avenged Sevenfold - Love M. Shadow's voice, amazing guitar solo's
Smashing Pumpkins - Love Billy Corgan's voice
Rise Against - Good lyrics, love punk music

Sorry I can't decide between those three.

Rise against - Great, meaningful Lyrics and TIm McIlrath has a very unique voice.
Cartel - Good lyrics, pretty catchy music.

Those are the only two bands I really like. I prefer songs to have good lyrics.

H.I.M, love the lyrics.

A7x or MCR is my second favorite, can't decide between the 2.

I'm mainly a metal fan.

- (龍族樂團) DragonForce (I went to their concert! Touched Herman Li's hair!)
- Children of Bodom (Henkka T. Blacksmith rocks!)
- Slayer (Kerry King and Tom Araya rock!)
- Rammstien (if only I could understand what Till Linderman is saying...)
- Blind Guardian (German power metal band that not many people know)
- Darkest Day (The one I'm in)
- Some of Metallica (I honor Jason Newsted, shame he had to hurt his neck)

There's alot more but it will take a while to list.

Misery Signals and Hopesfall.

The two bands I just really can't decide on. Both very good, meaningful lyrics. Great musicians. Sound amazing live.

I wouldn't say they're my favourite but, I envy them. They're some of the smartest people out there, they're all good at their instruments, and everything.

The thing that amazed me about them the most was when my brother was a huge fan of them. He found an article about one of the cd's. Everyone was looking for something good. Not good as in, appealing to your ears. Good as in the way the wrote the music was perfect.

The drummer used Geometry to write his music. Fibonnaci's Number.

Here are two articles on it:

Anyone honors Jason Newsted? He was a good player indeed, but it's a shame he had to hurt his neck. Anyone even know the story of his neck? Even if you don't, honor Newsted for me.

Honour a mediocre bassist who was hired to fill Cliff Burton's shoes? Not a chance. If there's anyone worthy of being respected, it's Cliff Burton-- not Newstead. I'm not saying he's a bad bassist, I'm saying that he's not remarkable by any means.

Oh, I like Muse too. I've only heard a few songs though. All of these lists are making me want to (legally) download some music.
