RuneScape's merchandise.

Should Jagex start selling RuneScape merchandise? If they should, what should it be?

Here's my opinion:

Yes, definately. I know alot of games out there (even internet games) that advertise/make money through their sale of merchandise. I think that they should sell figures of your character and when you order one, you specify what you want it to look like. Also, maybe alot of medieval/fantasy themed stuff will be another great marketing strategy. Maybe you could get X months of membership free when you buy certain merchandise?

they sell crap posters and ringtones only to UK costumers. i would like to have the barrows brothers action figures,lol

^I was thinking more of RuneScape T-shirts and stuff. Custom figures of your character sound better though.

yah u may want runescape t shirts, but would you wear them? lol i would never...and action figures sound kinda like liuttle kiddish..i understand if they are like colectable figurines that will be worth something/...

This COULD be a good idea but I don't think they would make enough profit off this... I personally am ashamed of playing this game so I wouldn't show everyone I play this game with a T-Shirt

If I saw someone walking down the street wearing a RuneScape T-Shirt, I'd roundhouse kick them in the face...

sBut like Kyle said, Rs Action Figurines would be sweet (Just for looks, I wouldn't actually play with them...fine I would).

Jagex are very lazy people, they dont like to send anything to anyone and they dont like to send out of the Uk especially. And for them to open a shop they would have to pay for a world wide liscense, and there isnt a big enough market to cover the lisence.

Seriously. The Runescape logo itself is pretty lame looking. I'm not sure who would walk around in public wearing it. It's a fun game and all, but for god's sake..I don't ever want to own a piece of clothing relating to it.

Well Jagex is really an RPG Game, they would have to spend money on talking to other companies to indorse their deal. Im just not sure.
