first off this is a real story, happened about 2 hours or so ago. i got bored of using my main so i got on my pure (it's f2p). my computer is really bad when i try to play on f2p servers, but i said "w/e". so now my story starts.
i was going to the lessers to train my ranged (it's level 51). i was in my "spiffy" suit (wizzy [g] hat and robe tope with green [g] legs) lookin real nice

. i get to the lessers, was doing fairly good until the advert changed. it made me lag so bad that mozilla stopped responding and the next thing i know, i see my character falling to the ground and the "Oh dear, you're dead" message in my chatbox. it was stupid on my part for going there knowing i was at a risk on a lvl 41 account and very laggy.well that's all i got, probably not worth the read but i thought i'd share it.

Wizard Hat (g)
Wizard Robe (g)
3.8k steel arrows
and some lobs and salmon cuz i knew i was gonna get huirt, woulda survived had i not lagged.

3. Feel happy that it will never happen again, because anything made by Mozilla sucks; but a rubbish computer will have contributed to the problem.

I think they should have it so the adverts don't change. When I was training firemaking to 80 in F2P everytime the advert changed, the RuneScape screen would go white, making me either reload the page and log in again, or open a new window and close it... It was really annoying.

Ahh, death by lag. It happens I'm afraid, you'll never be free from it unless it's just your computer causing the problem. Do a couple of clues, get lucky and you'll be back to where you were in no time.

Download extra files from rs main page to play f2p rs it really helps and adverts dont effect game at all. But it requires internet explorer 6

Oh... That sucks. I'd try finding a F2P world where you don't lag at. My friend lags like hell in world 72, but is fine in his world that is good for him.
