Back on topic now, the reason why a lot of people play games is because it's more fun to be in a fantasy world. If you wanted a game that was like real life, wouldn't you just go outside? Surreality (is that even a word?) is what makes some games interesting.

maybe it is to unrealistic but then again dragon weapons and magic isnt very realistic either or someone killing someone, and they just end up in a differnt town losing nothing but there amor. like they said its fantisy and "game"

I think any game should stick to a certain era. If it changes, players become confused and/or a new audience is attracted, meaning loss of older players and newer players arrive. I'm sure not many people would enjoy a completely sci-fi runescape no? Obviously I'm exaggerating but again, games should stick to what they were originally, but change within those limits.

It'd be boring if it was all perfect. You say it was supposed to be set in BC or something, did magic exist then? Could you really turn some logs into gold? It was unrealistic to start with and they'll always be complaints that could be made regarding it.

and i think it doesnt matter its all pointless rubbish just let it be if theres a machine with lites then maybe its powered by magic.....who knows it doesnt effect ur gameplay
