DT and Ancients

I'm getting ready to work on DT and have a question. Do the ice spells freeze a person in place even if they hit a 0?

Yes if they hit 0, but no if they splash, obviously.

OK. I wasn't sure because my interpretation is 0 = miss. Looks like that guy will be even more of a pain than I had thought.

just use the highest dhide u can wear, or full mystic if u mage him

If the spells splashes, it doesn't hold. If the spell is in full graphics and he hits a zero you are held.

What I did is wear the highest dragon hide armor possible, bring a dds (or ddp++ :roll:

) and hit him with everything you can. Something with a pretty good special. No point in wasting special attack right? Then hit him with the highest fire spell you can. I ko'd him in about a minute with this.
