Never affected me. I did well, and still do well.
While playing Runescape I learnt a LOT about computers and the internet, etc. If I hadn't played it in the first place, I wouldn't be using these forums, I wouldn't have got into graphic design... Yeah. There are a lot of factors and I think I benefitted from it.
However, what I just said is branching off from Runescape itself, and your brother
played Runescape 4 hours straight every day after school.
My brother is two years younger than me, and if I compared myself to him when I was his age, there is a massive difference in... everything. He only ever wants to play games on the computer, whereas I'm interested more in learning. I don't really think it was the games that affected him though, but more the fact that he
never wants to learn anything. He's so reluctant to do any homework. Won't just shut up and get it over and done with, he makes it harder for himself without realizing it.
Sometimes I wonder how he'll cope in a year's time, with five times as much homework.
