Scammers get more pathetic as the game progresses...

Here's my story of the saddest scammer EVER. This happened today. It pretty much shows how desperate they're getting...

I was on the forums looking for a Dharoks Great-Axe. I found one topic and posted my offer (1.35mil). He told me that it would be a deal at 1.38mil. I accepted.

We meet at Varrock Square and he says, "Ah.. I can't trade. What do I do?" I told him how to fix it. We went to Lumbridge, to Bob's axes, and he needed to borrow some gp for the fix. I gave 10k. I asked him if he was done, he showed me the great-axe and logged... for 10k...

When you have to go through all that trouble to get 10k from someone, you know you're sad... Especially from off the forums and taking 10 minutes to walk from point A to point B. :\

I know I gave him the 10k and that was leading to him leaving with it, but come on.. 10k.

Yeah, I beleive people are becoming noobier and noobier everyday, not sure if that goes under item scamming, but you should've reported, even if it is only 10k.

I know that, but still.. I was offering good money for his axe. He would've made 10k PLUS what I gave him for the axe. In the end, he somewhat lost. :s

Lol... that is pretty pathetic, the least he could have done was took that time to figure out how to scam at least 100k.
