Now that you know this I have a suggestion to teach those noob scammers (this only works if you can use Protect extra item). Make sure you have full prayer, an anti-poison potion, a good amount of lobs or better not too much b/c they will usually trade more then the valuable item hoping you won't even think about it. Also bring tele runes incase it gets bad. As soon as he/she gives you the items put protect extra item on and start dropping the low level items (it was ham stuff for me) or (this is alot easier) just teleport, if I had done this I would have gotten my whip and the 3 Mystic tops.

WARNING: This is where the tele runes come in handy!!! If he/she gives you 4 of a very valuable item teleport immeadiately b.c then you will just drop your item even with protect extra item, That way you will have the 4 valuable items, your valuable item, and the junk items. Put your priv chat on friends and put him/her on ignore

I thought it wouldn't really matter since almost all the guides are dead and I was just adding to a helpful guide

Selling things out of market price isn't really against the rules or a scam..is it a scam I sold someone a sara page for 300K? or sold a s legs for 150K? lol

I had this to with my whip, my best friend did it. He said there was an event in lvl 50 wildy where everybody fights with a whip and full monk everybody should have 500k with them and if u die u lose 500k, but we don't take 500k :wink:

so i think: 'nice deal'. he said i had to attack him to get skulled otherwise they would have piled me and i die so i attacked him becous i had 3 p pots and sharks with me (got them from him) when we ware lvl 50 wildy he gave me toraq hammers (200k) when i clicked accept the guys lvl 107 and 100 attacked me both with tele block and entangle and i died in a min. thats how i lost my whip. Just dont go in wildy with a whip when ur not that rich :oops:

i was buying a whip one day... i had about 2mil in cash and items so i posted in forums that im buying and one man told me to get in edge he would sell
i sai that better seers... he said that he dont have tele runes
so i told to myself ok edge
i ent to edge and he said that i need to get to the monastery couse he is there picking monk robes
i was going in the wildy but noticed that this is strange so i went in other direction... (in barb vilage then in monastery) when i was there he told me that he dont want to buy... (but i havent seen him) i think he was wating in wildy to get my items

Okay well i just want to tell you guys/girls thats theres a scam out i don't know if it's old or new but i just wanted to tell you so you know to watch out for it.

If u r buying full verces somthing you will get a trade and the guy/girl will offer full verces and then take then helm and put up a skirt and alot of people don't see this till it's too late happend to me and some friends.

Its actually - drop all your items and press ALT + F4.

Not really, if you are in a BIG hurry, you can load your internet and rs fast. Depends on the speed of the connection though. My computer is quite fast, and I never fall for that, so no problem.

to avoid alt+f4 scam open 2 rs windows on the same world ,on the 2nd window u enter username and pass then all u do after u get scammed is press login =p

Good info for newer players who may not know about scams yet. Try adding the drop item and press alt+f4 to duplicate it trick.

I have one thats sotra a scam.

One day when i was lvl 56 i was killing chickens in champions guild for prayer xp. Then when i burrried one of the bones a zombie apperead and started killing me, i was going to get out but the guy in there with me kept closing the door every time i opened it so i couldnt escape.

so try not to kill things in enclosed areas.

yeah ,ive seen that used...hehe..Ive used it XD...also, in dueling they will bring a cat and have it stand right on them so its hard to attack
