The idea emote and a few other things...

Anyone here have the new idea emote? Well you know how a light bulb pops up above you? It should be a candle, shouldn't it? I know it's just a game but still, Thomas Edison wasen't born back in the middle ages. I know Jagex doesn't research their stuff before they make updates but my friend pointed that out to me.

Now onto a few other things:

-Remember from The Golem quest the golem says "Damage...Severe...Task...Imcomplete..." Robots invented in the midieval times?
-Grandfather clocks were invented?
-The ComOrb from 'Wanted' was supposed to resemble a walkie talkie I think. Walkie talkies were invented back then?
-Clockwork cats, wind up toys in the middle ages?
-Running around in armor? (Don't try it at home.) Ouch that's got to hurt! :shock:

-Fitting armor, weapons, animals (cats), barrels, other strange things or varying sizes into backpack?
-Doesn't it get tired to walk around with a sword/sheild/weapon all day long and not put it down?
-Mogre camp - Even the earliest version of SCUBA diving wasen't invented in the midieval times, and you can't just throw a goldfish bowl on your head and swim underwater.
-How do you expect to put on and take off armor in one second by yourself?

I do not intend to flame RuneScape in any way but I'm just pointing things out. Don't start a flame war either about what makes sence and what doesn't .

Like a chair could prevent a 500kg heavy giant from attacking you.
And if you compare the price of bread (=2gp) with rl price (€1.70) you'll get value of gp= €0.85. So when giving logs (from which you can make a bow , assume long bow, so it would be 2mX15 cm) and it would cost you 100 gp, that's 85 euro for making a single plank lol! Then furniture in real live would cost a fortune.

My point, it's only a game, so don't compare it with real life

Plus most importantly is: ITS A GAME. Its not ment to be historically correct or phisically possible. If it was then Runescape would just be an extremely bad version of the sims.

Lets see... where there Dragon Medium Helmets in the midevil times? Were there people who told you to kill 137 Iron Dragons for no reason? No.

It's a game, and personally, I can't find anywhere that RuneScape is based in midevil times. It takes place in a different world, in no apparent time.

many things are unrealistic, like how when u fish the net, harpoon or cage dont go in the water. Also, fishing explosive? ALSO not to mention kegs that give unlimited beer, also how the fact u cant carry most of the items in ur "backpack"

Erm fishing explosive exists, makes the fish numb and easy to catch
