New member account goals...

So as some of you know I just took one of my accounts member. So I was thinking of some good long term goals for him...

I have one ultimate goal to achieve with him:

Get full dragon and dragon scimmy...all from drops of monsters. I know this seems crazy...but I am commited to it. It might take a year or two...but it will most definately happen.

But for now my goals are pretty simple:

43 Prayer (eventually to the mid 80's with dragon bones)
100 Combat
94 magic
90 crafting

So what is my plan?

X thousands of Blue dragons. That is for the Dragon med helm...it is all supply tons of crafting equipment, dragon bones, and a target for my magic attacks. Once I get dragon med I'll move on to a new monster to get scimmy...which will be determined at the time.

How:
Blue Dragons for Med Helm
Metal Dragons for Legs
Fire giants for left side of Shield and Scimmy
Kalphite Queen for Chain
To be determined for right side of shield

Timetable:

As I said I'm giving myself two years for this...because I have alot to do on that account between here and there.

Looks like good goals, but I'm not sure you can get a rune scimmy from a drop can you? Unless its a pk. Good luck getting the other drops though.

Hmmm...let me look up I"ll edit when I find.

P.S. As far as I can see...there is no drop...you have to complete a quest to yield it so that might explain the discrepency...thanks for the note dave.

Fire giants drop Rune scimitars. I've had at least 3 from them.

I'm not sure about the d med from blue dragons. It could be possible however. I just didn't knew yet

lots of things drop d meds, probly easier from.... fire giants,kalphite queen, dust devils, KBD, or a few others..

Metal Dragons drop d legs and d skrts

pretty much same as dmed for shield left half

and as for chain, only 2 ways to go: Kalphite Queen, and dust devils B)

and buy guthansor get from barrows, get a fire cape, and make a fury :twisted:

if you need chain from kalphite than you must go with some friends

i dont think you can beat it alone and on dust devils i think you can kill them alone or no?

Key to blue dragons is dragon bones, blue dragon hide, and lots of melee xp. The addition of crafting and prayer to the melee xp is probably the most obvious benefit.

Dont waste your money on d bones. by the time u can kill a dragon and bury its bone u can have 3 games of pest control done on 78 and thats 864xp for prayer
