Is 500k Mining XP A Day Possible??

i think everybody will know who i'm referring to just by looking at the mining hiscores. the best that i've ever mined in one day was 260k xp in 17 to 18 hours. the method was superheating addy. i did that to keep ikanov at a safe distance but of course to no avail. ikanov and co. mines 200k to 300k xp a day.

but 500k xp?? such consistency for a very boring skill.

still i might be wrong about this since my mining experience is limited on f2p mining and not on p2p. from what i've gathered, this miner accomplished the feat on the granite rocks. i want to know if this is possible at all.

im guessing no, rune only gives that 128xp so you would have to mine 400k a day, being there are like 6 rocks, and they take 30mins to respawn...

it's found at the desert of al kharid south of the pass. there is a quest where you must mine three sizes of granites. they give 50, 60 and 75 xp depending on the size.

the granites respawn as fast as iron. they're useless anyways.

My friend wated 85 mining ...he made it in less then 1 week.

He mind for over 9 houres iron drop minig as fast as he could..

In just under 10 houres he made 466k xp. its not even 2k iron an houre...very possible

That means you need to mine and drop a full invo. of iron every 1min and 20 sec.

I looked under mining and i think you need 45 mining. Not sure if it depends on the size of the rock

Seems possible even with iron...I mean you just have to gain the experience of nine iron ores per minute (that includes droping that many as well). That means as long as you mine and drop at a rate 1 iron per 6.66 sec...you could do 500k xp in a day. Humanly possible...skipping three meals and eight hours of sleep might be tough. But the toughest part would be the hand cramps....ouch. I suppose if you were autoing then it might be easy...I myself don't like macros. I'll have to test your theory on the granite...havent' tried that stuff yet.

Note: depending on your luck you might be able to do it with coal, with a mining lvl in the 90s... I don't know as per myself...but if you were one hitting coal. The problem of course would being getting enough coal and creating a system...with an empty mining guild you would have to mine and drop 7 coal a minute...a little less daunting than the iron yet still difficult. You could circle the mining guild to pull it off droping after each one. I wonder if that would work.

let's do the math here. 466k in 10 hours = 46.6k per hour. it will take 1332 iron in 1 hour. that's 22.2 iron per minute or 1 iron every 2.7 seconds. so in just 2.7 seconds, your friend must wait, mine and drop without fail.

a human gets tired, fingers gets strained. it's either he is exaggerating here or someone else tookover to give him a break.
