Thanks ALOT Jagex..

Just Wednesday, i was an official RuneScape Player Moderator. Yesterday i get on to find that i have two undread messages in my inbox, i thought one would at least be about my membership starting. I was terribly wrong..Turns out, i said "give these to my noob." and some person reported me.

When i said that i logged out to get my noob, turns out the person that reported me claimed he was my noob, and my absent minded real life best friend gave him the 800 cooked salmon..

I read the rules, and it clearly said "Accounts must not interact." I understood that, but what i didn't understand, is you couldnt transfer stuff from your account to your friend, to give to your noob.

And here i am, mad at 5:00 am..thanks Jagex, and saber6941, you ruined my summer. That's my rant, had to get it off my chest. If it belongs in some other forum that i haven't discovered yet, just move it there, and if it does, im sorry, just really mad.

I do believe in the player moderator center theres a place where the rules are explained more. Perhaps you should have gone there to check them?

Where as it's not your fault you didnt understand the rule, Jagex cant have moderators who dont know whats right and wrong. Sorry man.

I had read over the rules, but turns out if you click on them there are more detailed explanations. Oh well though, it was just a bother anyway.

Ya, sorry. I used to to that with an account but it is such a pain and it is for your own good...as I so horribly found out. Funny thing is I stopped and split the two account to makes sure they only had the stuff they had gained and left the noob account...well, went to check it the other day and it had been hacked and locked by jagex...ah well didn't have anything valuable anyway.

Trust me, jagex made that rule for your own good. I lost stuff drop trading and as you pointed out even when transfering through a friend mistakes can be made...better to just adhere that rule. Sorry again for loosing your moderatorship. :wink:

Man that sucks I know a couple p mods and Jagex is really cracking down on the rules for them..

Well at the end of the day it is your own fault, but still unlucky, some people seem to break the rules all the time and get away with it.

... but only 800 salmon? That's not TOO bad. At least it wasn't something like a party hat.

This is why transfering is no longer allowed betwen accounts owned by the same player. It's very risky and the Jagex Team had gotten one too many complaints of lost items due to some convenient other player intercepting the items somehow.

Yeah, i know that now. Drop trading is stupid, and yeah wasn't that big of a deal in the first place, i mean i didnt even get the fish.

So as a warning to everyone, don't say "give this to my noob" apparently its offensive language. Not saying it wasn't my fault, just said i didn't read the rules accordingly. My bad, but oh well, thanks for the warning jagex.

just lost pmod status, that is the first rs rule i have broken for my 5 years of playing
