New Sig

Its an odd size. 480x120. My sigs are getting progressively longer as time goes by.

Post comments, marks out of ten etc.

I don't like how I can see the background through the planet. Keep the planet at full opacity, it'd look much better. The text, which as never really been your strong point, stands out too much. Maybe add a shade of grey to match. All in all, it looks like you used a star brush ontop of a brushed background.. which just looks mediocre. I do like the idea though. Haven't seen to many space sigs lately.

The render is good, border is alright, but not a really big fan of the text though. I would make the text a little bit darker.
Good job this is one of your better sigs 8/10

Here's a new version. The text is sorted, and the planet is now at 100% opacity (it was at 59%).
