Well are you good looking in real life? Because I'd like to meet you...jk...no not that has never happened to me personnally but I do see lots of lvl 10s and 20s running around saying "looking for gf" or walking up to some girl character and going "your hot want to be my gf". I think it might have to do with that fact that 50% of the people who play runescape are <14...or something like that...they may be a little confused about what is kosher and what is not...or at least that is my theory on the matter.

Why am I a girl? I like free rings. Dragon skirts look better than Dragon legs. Guthans on a male makes your thighs look unblievably fat. Plus, a few quests require you to change temporarily to a female. And possibly another reason I will not mention here

I actually heard of a guy and his fiance playing Runescape and he asked her to marry him in the game....but thats probably just a story..sorrythats off topic it just reminded me. And most of the people that ask for a gf/bf are moochers and i have a lvl 78 friend that uses her femeninity(sp?) to get things that she needs but only like a few runes here and there and guys actually offer her dragon skirts and such and i just kinda sit back and laugh and wander what would happen if i played the game as a girl how many times i would get free stuff

The point of an MMORPG is that you don't have to be who you are in real life. Are we mages and archers irl? I'm sure not. I don't see why gender should be any different.

I don't see a major problem with it, just some people will use the fact they're a female character to get items or free stuff from other gullible adolescent boys who believe it actually is a girl they're being 'nice' to.

You wouldent believe how many noobs asked me to marry them or date them when I had to be a girl during a quest. I was poor at the time (dirt poor) and didnt have the cash on-hand to change back right away. Id say I had at least 30 level 15's following me in f2p, and 'bout 5 level 20's in p2p. That was the worst 2 hours of my runescape life, although i got quite a large ring collection from that...

Mostly guys are girls on the game to get items from their poor gullible victims or to stare at themselves with their perverted minds (I guess the pixles are a turn-on for them or that their girl character is the only female figure in their lives)
