World switchers?!

I saw a world switcher and began to wonder. Are they safe to use. Are they legal on RS rules? And what is the point of world switchers? Change world quickly?

Well since jagex put in the 30 second delay thing, world switchers have lost any real use, since you have to wait 30 seconds after logging out of one world, to log into another, but you won't get banned for using them.

i dont think the 30 seconds is in use anymore. i can log out click a random world let it load and type my name and pass and login to a different rule.
i know that doing all of that is less then 30 secs.

some are bugged - that's why jagex discourages use of them

SS from their main host isn't - now world switching is't as importans (as brad said the 30 seconds)

But is still useful to change worlds - especially busy ones, SS will keep retrying to get u into that world for 1 min then u can tell it 2 retry ...

I think its like a 20 sec delay now because I have to switch worlds a lot for merchanting..

could be possible - for members worlds maybe ... wonders

It is legal, but some have key loggers. I just use the runescape client. Also, some have easy ways to look people up and calculators.

they definitly still have the 30 second rule....because i have 2 windows open all the time when i play rs (world 36 [home] and world 2) for when i need faster switching. And considering world 2 is so hard to get into i just leave it open the window open when i finally do. Anyways when i log out of world 36 i switch right to the world 2 window and type my name and stuff in and it says "you have only just left another world - please wait while we transfer your account - 32 seconds".....so yeah i just thought i'd mention that...

it does have the 30 second thing, but i liked the other stuff it has too, like the high scores thing to find someone quickly, the calcs, stuff like that. SS has its own internet browser too
