Your Username - Your Real Identity?

well i've used "sonicboom" for other screen names and things but i learned that there were hundreds of thousands of people that played rs so i made mine a little different, so far i havnt regretted it since most people seem to like it, also being called "sonic" is better then some things that people can call eachother when they dont look at the whole name of someone

however i have been called "soni" or "sony" and that kinda annoys me i can live through it though

it doesnt really have much to do with real life things even though sonicbooms have to do with going fast whice is fun but its not a sonicboom so... BLAM!

My Runescape name, killdeen (1 word, not 2), came about back somewhere in My late teens-early twenties (I'm 34 now) when I played this old computer game called Sid Meier's Pirates. It required Me to choose a name, and killdeen sounded piratey at the time, so I went with that.

The name represents what happens when Runescape has a limit of only 12 characters, and when most of the names have already been taken. I originally wanted "A mortal among gods," but that's 20 characters long, so that one got thrown out. I also tried "Joe Blow," but someone already had that name, and I find a name like, say, "bob12218342813428742874827468274582648214821648213668678567896856765," kinda tacky looking, as well as being longer than 12 characters. Next idea was "Charlie Brwn," but I was in absolutely no mood to have My gaming experience ruined by annoying people pestering Me with "aaauuuuggghh!!! lol" or "Good grief! rofl!" or "i'll hold the ball and u com and kick it lololol," so ixnay on that one. Finally I settled on killdeen, and I now regret even using this one: "kill deen," "I will kill deen lol," "Y would u kill deen? lol."

Mine is my name with a number at the end. I let myself get used to it, and I even gave my character a history.

But asking the question as to whether it represents me, I read this one description of the name 'Alexandre', and I was shocked. It represented me perfectly! It is like I was destined to be an Alex the day I was born, and my parents somehow knew it!

I felt it was kind of creepy, actually.

My name finhunter 69 means im FINnish and i do hunt on my spare time.. I dont know about that number.. Well, i just started to use it.. 69 rocks.

well my name on rs2 is G I N 0. Lol. random, huh? and i got another acount nitsuj777 but im never on on him. I guess im just a random guy with random cravings. I love pork.

Despite what most people think or should i say..like to think im not really a creepy slab of bacon.

In fact im really not all that creepy, weird is a better word i'd say.

I have three accounts, and all of them are based on characters that I made up.

On my main, Melanie256, they often think that I really am a chick named Melanie. Of course, I'm always truthful when asked about it, but I generally prefer not to bring it up. The character I based this account on, Melanie Infrictum, is a rather daffy magician loyal only to herself and what few friends she has. I'm kinda like that in real life: If ever I appear compassionate or generous or even polite, it is to get something, and I never give free stuff in game.

On one of my others, Ju Learng, well, I dunno what they'd think. This account better reflects my identity than the others because, well, he's male and I'm male. This account is based on Ju-Learng Dinsang, a popular bassist and mostly recreational archer. He is sociable and has a good work ethic, which isn't really me, but he is good at math, which is like me.

My third account is Raenelli. She's a little cuter looking than the others and sometimes gets followed, but is generally ignored as a lower-mid level character. The account is based on actress Raenelli Trayhania. She deals with stage fright and public speaking pretty easily, can improvise well, and really only seems nervous when her life is in danger. Totally not like me at all.

uh, ibanblast55, represents nothing, i am only f2p anyways, so mainly it 'cause i was like 10 and i had no creativity and my bro just got the staff of iban and stuff, so i was like eh kool beans (not really, but something like that) so i typed in ibanblast and it said taken and i took the rs suggestion with 55 on the end

people usually think i am p2p from the name, or that i am a little immature kid (i'm not) or they well, i'm not exactly sure what most people think of me, they dont exactly come out and say, hey, your name makes me think you are a nerdy kid, so yeah...

but no, i do not think my name represents me, comeback_kid is a little more on the money, but i think something like Thought Genocide is better, dont ask me why (i dont want to kill thought) but after i read 1984 i began to realize how crazy governments can be and if i eliminate all thoughts, i cant get in trouble (i get in a fair amount as it is, and everyone should read 1984 by george orwell, or else!)
