Thieving Idea

That would certainly make things more interesting, even if it's not necessarily faster than picking pockets. I like it.

Very interesting idea, although I do agree with most people that it would have to be a mini-game of some sort. Adding castles and stuff to break inot and infiltrate would require a pretty big expansion to the game, although I could see it being worked into smaller parts of the preexisting RS world. There's houses and buildings EVERYWHERE with little or no practical use. Even various NPC could get involved in it. Very good idea though, you have my support!

I definitley support this idea. But how many times do you see a J Mod reply to a suggestion/rant or anything of any sort? Many of the greatest ideas Ive seen will never ever happen. Its sad how they dont give any signs of ever even considering some peoples ideas. Yours is one of the best ones. I love it

Yeah, sadly enough only about 1/10 moderators actually look in suggestion forums since alot of idiots post stupid ideas. I'm making every effort I can do support it on there though.

Honestly, I've never really had any problems with thieving before but it's definitely not something I would want to be doing day in and day out because it is quite dull and does tend to get boring after an hour or so. Obviously I support this idea because you came up with it, and because you would be uber cool with a high thieving level. (Not that you aren't cool enough already) And because I like thieving, AND it could also benefit Jagex as it would incline more people to join members.
But anyway, good luck getting the mods to take notice of it. Fingers crossed guys. :wink:

I reckon that's a pretty good idea. Mostly how I train theiving is by trapping a guard in a house and theiving on him till some noob will come in and kill the guard.

I suppose they could use the pre-existing castle in Runescape for some of them... Lol brings the task "Steal Lumbridge Duke's underwear" :shock:

I think forum mods posted a very long suggestion about stealing from houses etc. Jagex wont listen to you, unfortunately

Wow, thats cool. You've got my support. Although I am currently not a member, I have been a member previously, and I detest training theiving...although my friend got the patience to get his theiving up to 75. It could be a little like agility. "Sneak past guard." "Tiptoe past snoring prince" "Unlock Castle door". that might make it cooler.

Point taken, but in logic, the Agility skill is aimed at things that take physical strength to do, like say, climbing trees or some sort like that. I aimed at something like a mini-game of sneaking into an area unnoticed.
