swift switch improves runescape by 6.6% (3.2/3).
its a good idea but needs improvements

Uhh, did you forget by the way about the fact that there are other world switchers trying to take away users from SwiftSwitch? But, yeah, I began using SwiftSwitch not a long time ago, and I love it, especially after using RX3 that lagged a lot, had a terrible design and didn't support in-game music! :evil:

I play with swiftswitch because of the clan chat option...the whole clan goes on it so i really dont have to add anyone ingame...

I've used Swiftswitch before, but I'm happy playing the regular way.
Satisfied with the number of things it can do.
Unsatisfied with the memory usage. I've seen it go up to 116,000k. Lags my computer at the worst times.

I use SS just because it's more useful. It has all the stuff you need for RS built right into it. Along with many other things. Its own Screenshot, Calculator, Skill Calculators, etc...

For instance:

Say your are training and you get a clue and it's a co-ordinate one. You can just go to the tools and click reasure locater and type in the co-ordinates and it shows you where to go.

I use the RS client or IE. FireFox isn't doesn't work as good for RS as IE does, just so you all know.

Switchshift is strongly advised against by Jagex, but is not entirely illegal. I do not like it though.

fast world switching? nah, it only enables one to load a full world. swiftsitch is risky especially irc chat. it is easy to probe for an open port there. also, your ip ain't masked in there.

just imagine that you're in wildy and someone nukes your computer thru the open port.

so better stick with jagex rs client and the internet explorer. irc is home to real "hackers".

It's true there are IRC worms, but I'm pretty sure if you do not connect to the server, you are fine.

Swiftswitch is using internet explorer actually.

It used to be a big thing that Jagex didnt want you using. But now they really dont care thats why they added that wait time when you switch worlds. I remember when it wasnt there...I sat at Elvarg and watched noobs die and take their items
