Whats a SMTPListener.exe It has used up 100% PCU-Solved =)

I don get this thinny. i hold Alt+ctrl+del and i end prosess SMTPListener.exe it says acces dinied.... this progrem is drivng me crazy it takes the computer 10-14 mins to just start up!! i cant play rs 2 its to slow it wont download it it just stops...

I found out the problem lol-ok found out the solution...I called the big boys to fix up my pc....The problem was that all my anti virus,reg doctor ect were all out of date lol... so they instled the new ones.After they instal they traced around 40-50 spy were lol

ok sounds like you have a virus here is wat today.

Shutdown
Turn on, when turns on press f8 and log into safe mode
Run virus scan
Click my computer
Right click your hard drive
Click Fix Volume Errors
Reset
May take severla miniutes due to problem but should fix it.

I userly hit start, select run, then run a search on my pc for the program and just try and delete it.

However i guess if you can't shut it down then it wont let you delete it that and if you don't know what it is then you probably don't want to remove it incase it's something important.

Try running a scan and seeing if your virus scanner can take care of it.

Other than that my only advice is to stay off dodgy sites.

I would do what punisher said, I have fix my computer so many times in safe-mode, it make sit so the viruses dont know that you are on your computer so you can delet it, this also help getting rid of twice the ammount od spyware too. IF you dont have a V-scanner you can get AVG onlinlice or PCcillan has a free one too.

I do not have the proccess SMTPListener.exe running on my pc and I have not heard of it before.
Scan with AVG Free if you haven't already.
Scan for Spyware with [urlhttp://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html]Spybot Search & Destroy[/url].
And you should start running a software firewall like ZoneAlarm

If Spybot and AVG can't remove the file then click start->search->all files and folders
In the field, "All or part of the filename:" put SMTPListener.exe
If the search finds it then try to delete it if you can't then make sure you are logged in as administrator, if you do not have access to the admin account then get one of your family members that is and have them delete this file. (shift+delete)
