Simpsons movie

Ok. For any of you who watch the simpsons, there has been an announcement made that a simpsons movie will be released. The announcement was made on last sunday, during the simpsons new episode. the release date was shown as summer 2007. Anypne excited? or do you think it's a late april fool's joke?

I say there has been rumors of a simpsons movie since i was a kid, it hasn't happend so far.

i wouldn't put it pass them. i mean i think it's possibiliy for them to make a movie... although homer does not look good in that superman t-shirt

OK I saw the preview trailer right before "Ice Age: Meltdown". There were a couple of previews and "Simpsons: The Movie" was one of them. I was actually shocked and said to myself that I will go to that movie for sure. Looked cool the preview showed Homer sitting on the couch then he looks to your direction and says: "We better get started" Sounds cool can't wait for it to come out. And no it is no joke.

The movie will be no different then watch several episodes in a row, but hell will stop me from seeing it.

The difference is that we get to see it on the movie screeen with huge speakers

Mint. New episodes of the simpsons are better than the older ones and if their making a movie then eee it should be good. Can't wait. Unless this is all a big joke by people in which case SHAME ON YOU and i can wait.
