meh : check twiceborn in scores : 99 ranging 77 hp , how he traisn rangign without trainign his hp?

Well my guess is that hes only trained his range and no other combat skill (well maybe a few levels in something else but not much). Ranging and mage and skills like that level up alot faster than hitpoints.

He obviously used a cannon, they dont give you hp xp
