The ring of wealth is a JINX!

Ring of wealth only works for drops by monsters.

It will not work on barrows chest

Also its still very random

Say chances of coins are 1/10 and d med is 1/500, itll be = to 1/5 for coins and 1/250 for med

Ive gotten d legs wihout one, but got a d chain and skirt with one

i spent 5 hours in the Tzhaar pits fighting Tzhaar-Ket's (149) and the best drop i got was a diamond -.- after that i died and i lost my ring of wealth and i dont regret it, becuase i bought a ring of life when i came back and i went to train on lessers and in 7 kills i got 2 mith chains and a rune med, so they're either random, or ya it's a jinx!

hmmm talking about all this..

today my fiance spent 15minutes at the abbys and she always forgets her ring of wealth.

within 15minutes she got 2 abby whips, a lvl 3 clue, 3 half keys, and a rune chain.. maybe there is something up eh?

Ugh, I hate the ring of wealth, glad KQ took mine

I went to Fire Giants twice and got 2 rune scimmys, then noticed I didn't have my ring of wealth. Went back with my ring at least 5 times, never got anything better than the big bones they drop...

well, my luck at drops has never been good (no drag items ever

) but even then, ive still had better drops without wealth. i reckon it actually makes drops worse...

It seems like it downgrades all rare drops. I think Jagex uses peoples (nont mine-I don't use one) greed against them, and makes them get bad drops. When I did try ring of wealth, I never got ANYTHING good.

The ring of Wealth improves the drop-rate of rare drops and when you kill all of the brothers what do they drop...nothing!!...You have to OPEN the chest to get your reward, and besides I would personally always tae a ring of life because when you get down to low health the ring of Life teles you to your respawn spot either being Lumbridge or Falador so you keep all of your items...

Well ring of life doesn't really matter against the barrows... But I agree with you.

I was fighting otherworldly beings with a ring of life and got nothing I started getting really bored and asked my m8 to come and join me which he did. He turns up and doesn't have a ring of wealth and on his 1st kill got a d med :evil:

. Whereas I had spent half my day there and got nothing he turns up and gets it on his 1st kill. Thats when I decided the ring is cursed and I havn't used it ever scince.

I once went to the fire giants without a wealth ring and i got a d spear. A couple days later i went there to train range and i got 7 rune scimmys. But i went with wealth a couple days after that and i got nothing good.

I only read this upto this point. RoW does NOT (does not, doesnt, dunt, dont, duesnt) have ANY effect in barrows
