dont double post. read the forum rules. and what rules were you breaking? a p mod most likely muted you for whatever rules you broke, sometimes it might be 24 hours, 2 days, 5-7 days.. who knows,, just wait..

Posting twice on the same thread without a reply in between is double posting, so this is the 3rd time you've done it.

once you reply to a thread you are not allowed to reply to it again until someone else has replied to it.. This excludes marketplace and recruitement where every 48 hours you may bump your thread..

You now know how to "not double post" so i suggest not to do it again

If you post somthing, and want to add somthing else on, edit your previous post. Thats the best way to stop double posting. If you cant see that your double posting, you may have a problem with your web browser settings maybe?

You should check yoiur letters box for the next few days to see if they send anything else, or try sending a reply asking how long the muting is in effect.

Mutes last about 48 hours at the most, but you should be getting a message from jagex about it soon within in 24 hours I'd say. Next time if someone says that you should just ignore them but if they continue go ahead and report them.

You can either be permanently muted which of course that means the account will always be muted. Or you may be muted for a short period of time its usually less than a few days.
