What do you peoples do to make money?

I use skills, because if you die with the stuff you got from skills, it's not a waste of time because you got XP while making the money.

I tend to agree with lord zammorak. The main point of the game is to raise your skills, in my opinion, so that takes priority. However, I can't see a problem with making a quick mil while you are tediously chopping yews are cooking some lobbies. In other words, while you are raising your skills, surf sites like tip.it and RSBandB for merchanting opportunities. That way your efforts yield both money and xp.

My Vote: Both skills, merchanting and skills (mining mainly).

usually i just train skills to make money however if i see someone selling a glory for 50k or something like that i'll buy it and sell it later for 75k-80k...but that doesnt happen too often.

i also watch people die when i'm training combat sometimes

i make my money by skills...runecrafting mainly because it's really easy...you just have to watch out for pkers while useing the abyss....my rc lvl is 62 so that obviously says i love runecrafting....anyways i can make about 300k in an hour so thats easy money and its more fun than merchanting

I don't merchant and never will. Taking advantage of others stupidity, using bully boy tactics to try and force people to sell there stuff and ripping people off is stupid in my book and a cheap way to play the game.

Work hard. Skills for lifeee, gp comes n goes.

I don't like merchanters. They're usually greedy. (Remember when they said that those Cat Amulets were a rare and discontinued item? Was all over the rants for months...) I'm no good at it, I just use my crappy skils.

I do both. Merchanting gives nice cash, making it easier to raise skills such as herblore and farming. Or rc..

hell yes.. exactly how i feel.. But i only feel that way towards people that spend more time merchanting than anything else.

Or those who do the bully tactics thing.. If im bored and decide i wanna see if there are any good deals on the official forums. I go around and buy whatever is fairly cheap. I dont use bully tactics, lie and say like omgz0rs its not worth that its worth this etc..

In most cases if someone sells something cheap, i will tell them what its really worth.. I feel overall its more respectful, more prideful when you work hard for your own stuff and dont scam, or treat people like crap.

Skillz fo lyf!.

I don't have a very competitive style of play, but I do sell certain items that I acquire, and occasionally I'll get a large stock of runes or other commodities to sell.

Skills, since I dont see the point in meching, what are you going to do with money if you have no skills? And besides, if you only merch, and you get haxxed, what hapens then? your still a low level in everythign and you'll have to start again, where as with me, if I get hacked I dont care, since I can easily make 300k an hour 8)
