The ring of wealth is a JINX!

I don't like ring of wealth. I get ******* anyway, so I've given up on it. What does jinx mean again? I knew it, but forgot as I never needed the word

It means that it doesnt work.

But it does, just slightly though. Just enough to not affect any rare item prices.

lolz, my pal killed like 17k fire giants with ring of wealth...not a med...not even a dspear..., while if u kill +-20 kalphite queens u'll get dchain (see treky&creepy kqueen hunt

) i don't believe that wealthring gives 20% bonus, it's more like 1%-5%

Lol, yeah I'd say about 1 to 5%..if it was 20% increase you would be able to see the effects..

It's just something else for a dragonstone to be wasted making. I don't think, if you buy one for 80K-ish, it will pay for itself..you'll spend more on food trying to get something of any worth than you paid for the ring..

Rings dont really give too much of a bonus anyway, there is usually a catch, or its use is limited in some way.

Recoil - Doesnt hit often, breaks after a few uses
Duel - Only teleports to a few places, breaks
Forge - Breaks after a few uses
Life - Only works at 10% or less health, one use

So yeah, you cant expect much of a difference, its only 'expensive' cause dstones are slightly rare.

To be honest, If onyx wasnt so hard to get, the stone ring wouldnt cost a lot either.

a plain dragonstone is worth as much as a ring of wealth. a d stone ammy is worth ~150% of a d stone, maybe more. go figure.

ring of wealth just increases the chances to get any drops really..

With it without a ring of wealth, you can get any drop in the game, even a left half shield from a shadow warrior. its just harder to get without the ring of wealth.

There have been times where ive forgot my ring of wealth at gargoyles, and have got 3 mauls, 2 mystic tops, 2 addy boots, and 3 rune full helms and a clue, took a screenie, but dunno where it is. There have been times wearing the ring of wealth and ive got 1 maul.

The conclusion is, drop rate is always completely random. Like my fiance getting a whip in 4 drops, or a left half shield from killing 4 fire giants.

in the end its all "RANDOM"

I'm not saying that the ring of wealth is supposed to make barrows armor better or not. I'm just saying that maybe there's a code or something in there that's wrong and that the ring of wealth is unintentionally effecting the barrows.

i think the ring of wealht make something that you get easyer (drops) but very easy... maybe try to go with ring of wealht again. go for a week non stop and i think you gonna get something

i've went to barrows for 400 something trips, 90 percent of the time i had a ring of wealth, the wealth ring actually helped me alot and i've gotten tons of items with ring of wealth than without

i think that the ring of wealth actually does work because on my 9th kbd kill widd my clan i got a dmed so in my opinion it works

maybe u just got unlucky and ur friend randomly got lucky
