Would you consider a pickaxe a weapon?

A pickaxe is more useful as a tool, yes, but it still makes a fairly effective weapon, as Stalin proved when dealing with Trotsky.

A pick is technically a weapon as you can wield it, and attack with it. However I'd call it a tool. Keep in mind, I don't think Jagex will go that much into detail with their pre-update news.

A cannon isn't a weapon, it's a ****ing cannon (I censored that myself, so no need to get a mod after me). Just like a battleship thingy isn't a weapon, but a dangerous and highly powerful boat.

A cannon is indeed a weapon. It is a siege or field weapon, depending on the type. A battleship is a means of carrying lots of cannons over water for use on boats.

Did i explain it that bad, or do you want to argue? If I did give a bad explanation, lemme know and I'll rephrase. A battleship wasn't the greatest example, a tank would probably be a better one.

if rocks are the enemy, then is a pickace a weapon
but rocks aren't the enemy so a pickaxe isn't a weapon
but it can be used as a weapon

Is a woodcutting axe a weapon? Ask yourself that question. Can you inflict damage on anything with a pickaxe? Yes. It is a weapon.
