 Post subject: runescape access denied?!?

I have a problem: me and my friend are runescape junkies. We like to play during lunch hour at our school. One day we go on runescape.com and it says: access denied. ask your computer administrator if you have any questions. We can not play runescape anymore and i wanna know if anyone knows a way i can get on plz! help me!! :cry:

i can't do any of those because on the school comp we are very limited with the settings. the only thing we can do is change the size of screen lol :(

it wont help to restart your computer. the guy whos responsible for the computers and such in your school has blocked runescape.com.

theres only one way to get pass sicha black, by hacking. and i dont think it would be any good idea.

Yep it's been blocked... no way around it... cept these guys at my school, they installed all these keyloggers... so they have the administrator's password, and the pass of anyone who plays RS there... so I cant play at school, not safe :cry:

yeah, i think its blocked.
Same at my school i think, they block some game sites and improper gamesites.
We even get in trouble for going on those webs

Of course it's blocked. Ur school admin is probably running a net fitler called ... well i can't remember the name, but anyway...try using a proxy server. Go to ur browser url addy bar and type: " http://surfeasy.info " that is a pretty reliable one. You can't do any searching through it, and a lot of long urls don't work, but for basic blocked websites, (even ****, if ur into that sort of thing =\) it works every time. Now, to play the game you have to download the java drivers (at least i did). Also, I'd recomend downloading the runescape client and running that from your student drive or server drive or whatever you school calls it. It's easier that way. Once you have the client you don't usually have to mess around with the proxy server. There you go guys, EZ way to scape some rune (lol) at school 8)

Im in the same school as ranger 490 and I tryed the http://surfeasy.info and it went to it but after i clicked on high detail it didn't do anything can you help with that? ( i also tryed low detail and rs1) oh and by the way if the adress is wrong dont worry i cant remember it right now anyway. I did type it in correctly when i remembered it.

yea, i tried it too and it doesnt get to the "choose your world" thingy place. darn :( . i was excited for a minute. thx for the help though...any other ideas :?:

p.s. hey steven, once you get main page from the proxy server, try downloading the windows client but dont save it, just open it from the proxy server and see what happens. i did it at home but then again...its not blocked here lol. im still sick and i hope you read this in school tomorow. lol having fun typeing? well if your reading this...GET BACK TO WORK!! after trying the "above" out. seeing im going to bed. *cough cough*

where did you go to download these java drivers, i think that might me the problem

well the proxy server only worked for like 2 sites that i wanted to play on, some websites(runescape, along with about 5 other websites) didnt work, oh well....its prbly cus my school has sucky computers
