It's pointless I think.Nobody will insert their real age if they are 12 or younger...

kind under 13 will do it over and make it older then 13

i think jagex only does this to prevent lawsuits (or however u spell it) because of the adverts that some ppl would find offensive
in europe ppl won't care about it but in america i think ppl would care

i beleive this is closing to the end of runescape... its a game it connot loast forever... its gone for like 5-8 years now! they have to soon run out of ideas which will then cause people to get lest interested. they are trying a bit still... but it cannot last more then 3 more years

When the full version of rs3 is relesed look in the red crate in the lady lumbrige and you will get an antuiqe lamp. thise will only work for runescape2 skills and each one you get will decreese your rs2 exp by 2.5k
And shh! Don't tell anyone!

This is just to cover them for legal reasons. If a parent tries to sure because of something in game, jagex can now say the child stated they were 13, clearing themselves of legal responsibility

You have a point though.. most of the ads that parents would sue over are 16+.. not 13+..

And I'm pretty sure parents arent going to sue because their child saw dating ads on the internet.. *gasps* its not as though theyre rare..

Jagex arent worth sueing. There a limited company..you'd spend more taking them to court than you would getting the reward.
