When I was 7 years old I looked at what my cousin was doing and yea,he was playing runescape. I asked him why do you like a game like this? There was no reply. I went outside to play with some friends that day and about 3 hours later he was STILL playing runescape! I taunted him by saying: "Gosh man You gotta stop playing that game it's so boring. No sound, no special attacks, no good action and the drawing is really poor!" Again he ignored me and just carried on fighting lvl 24 scorpions at the alkarid mining site. Now remember I was only 7 at the time and this was only runescape classic so the game was too poor for my taste as the only games I've played were on my playstation as I didn't have a computer that time. Since he was playing it for a huge amount of time I decided to actually give it ago. As only being seven years of age I found it incredibly difficult to handle as there was no tutorial island so I just gave up and decided not to play it ever again. Two years later when I was 9 my parents decided to buy a computer. I managed to remember runescape and because I was older I had a better understanding into gaming and how to get around. However, there was still no tutorial guide so I only knew how to fight and do some easy quests. All I had on me was a bronze med helm and a steel dagger I found on the floor. I got bored and left again as I didn't know about the skills like mining, prayer, magic etc etc. 1 year later I was 10 years old, runescape managed to have a tutorial guide and it actually made a big impact into what I was doing I made a huge progress that time. Jgex finally announced that there will be a better faster and much more enjoyable version of runescape A.K.A runescape 2 that time it was only available to members so I never actually played it. 1 year later runescape 2 was now just "runescsape" and they renamed the older version to Rsc (runescape classic). I then rejoined Runescape late summer of 2004. In 3 months I managed to get iron chain, pl8legs and long sword. I had a long break after I achieved this as I got a PS2 for my birthday but that's another story...
I think that runescape had a lot of effect in my life because it helped me with my spelling and the way I think about life. It helped me understand some ways things are suppose to be done with all those never ending quests, they always keep my brain working. And the best thing it has done is it showed me how close me and my friends are with trust , friendship and the co-operation with with both real life and fellow internet runescape players. However, now-a-days I feel like I should quit runescape because my 2 of my friends have stopped playing it due to the fact that they think it's a waste of time to play a game non stop everyday for 5 hours. Now I play runescape 4-8 hours a day and I for one just wonder to myself is it worth it? That just reminds me of my cousin who
use to play it. When I last saw him he quit runescape even though he had full rune, overall 1000+ and purely F2p. That time I only had full addy. He even forgot his password and had to get it recovered but that's going off the topic. But the point is I stopped playing it every day.
My personality has definitely changed! Every day when I was young I used to watch T.V and spend some time with my friends. But not too long ago I just played games on the computer and my PS2. What I noticed is that I was seeing alot less of my friends

. And I probably might still be having the the same problem if I hadn't got some friendly advice from my guardian bird.

You shouldn't be playing video games much!
That guardian bird is from another MMORPG: Pristontale. While I was mining and smithing one day I noticed that he was right, I should really be focused on other things around me and not just what is on a game. And the other thing that made me understand this was my real life friend had full rune after just playing for 5 months!! Unfortunately, he got hacked and when he came back on his account his best items were gone. He was really upset by this not just because he lost the items but all the time he put into getting them all over a little game. It's not worth it so he just quited the game all together

.
So now I have come to the conclusion that I am highly linked towards runescape as I have played it for 5 long years! It has helped me in a lot of things in different ways. But it's always good to take a break on whatever you do. But as for quiting I don't think I'll ever quit as long as Jagex is still in buisness

.
Hope this was thoughtful enough for you czskrazzi
