I've heard of "null" before... some of the older players may be able to tell you about it. Something to do with rsc, something I didnt play as much.

Yeah, from what I gathered, if you didn't connect right to rsc, all the objects and player names and things were 'null'

It was hard to understand though, I'm probably wrong.

nulls are like when alot of people stand around in the same stuff..you may have heard of the tip.it null event. When all of them where together,on low detail,it created a massive blob of pixels and scraps.kind of like when your TV gives out,you see all those pretty colors. You know?

Yes its not a glitch. It happens. I have a funny past with null. Way back in RSC when I began to play I didn't know what null was. I would see people being nulled all over the place and they would talk. The name would appear as null. Since I had seen that name so many times I thought it was a real player. I used to entertain myself by yelling out for null whenever I saw the name. It makes me feel very stupid now.

But yeah, null is when you have a laggy connection and you don't fully contect to the server. It will usually last for a few seconds then fix itself. It usually only happens with a dial up connection I think.

yea it's just when information between ur comp and the game servers drags real bad that it tends to happen and i believe someone liked seeing it happen so much they did actually make a character named null. :P

Awesome, I want a character called null. Like null set or N/A. What awesome character names. Or even better...a null clan.

Crap, I find that scary, it seems kind of satanic... "null". I don't know why...

Anyways that happens to me alot and I just ignore it. Its just a glitch which happens when its super laggy.

Yes, null is basicly when you get bad lag. In rsc it would appear as player names..for awhile it was rumoured this 'null' was moderators, which of course wasn't true. :P I've never seen it appear in rs2 though.
