white knight armour

I just finished the quest Wanted! today. I bought the armour before doing the quest. I went to my bank and just for the fun of it I tried putting the armour on. I was able to wear it even though i havent killed one Black Knight since finishing the quest.
Can anyone explain it to me?

I think you misunderstood my question. I have just finished the quest. I am at novice level, havent killed on black knight since I finished it and I am still able to wear the armour. Just wanted to know why. Thx

I bought the armour from someone else. I can wear all of it. Plate body , legs, etc. The armour is white knights armour.

long as u've done the quest u can wear all the white knight armor, they just wont let u buy certain pieces of it from the shop itself until u reach a certain rank with them.

technically yea but if jagex cared about that then they would have made it either untradeable or that u cant wear the bit until u can buy them from the shop.

The rank you are at determines which peices you can buy from the white knight shop, not what you can wear.

To raise a rank you must kill in total double, what you had to raise your last rank.

You must kill 100 to raise your first rank.

ok so roughly 1200 blk knights from start to master that aint to bad.

I did used my precious cannon to kill blk knights fast and get master rank less painfully. But darker side - it is waste of cannonballs.
