Rumours...

Their has been a few rumours going around....

Carpentry has been thrown out the window

Can anyone confirm these? I doubt that carpentry has been scraped but it could be possible as they added this skill in Classic, but it just stayed on level 1 and you couldn't do anything.

I don't think that Firemaking will be deleted. Some people worked hard to get it to 99 (If anything is going to be deleted it would be farming) I don't think that jagex would throw carpentry out the window because they already said that it was comeing out by the end of the year.

Rumours are bad.

Firemaking has been around too long a time to be deleted.

Farming is not going to be deleted - so what if 60% of the members dont like it? Some people do like it.

Carpentry will come out with poh's. And I doubt Jagex are "stupid" enough to cancel pohs. Imagine at the end of the year, some players will say stuff like;

"omgzz!!!1oneeleven!! jagax nedes to giv us pohs!11111!one, they sed they w00d!!"

Multiply that post on forums by 500K and thats what Jagex will have to deal with.

I love farming! Best non-combat skill there is.

I highly doubt that any existing features will be removed. Just wouldn't make sense to do that.

But you do have to agree firelight is probably the most pointless skill, so I can see where these rumours are coming...

Firemaking could use an expansion. They made agility valuable so I don't see why they can't do the same for firemaking.

I highly doubt either of those are true, unless something was said by an official member of Jagex staff or on a news update post on the site I wouldnt believe it. Theyve said POH are coming out soon, as is Carpentry. They wouldnt be dumb enough to cancel it now Im sure, and they wont be deleting skills, what would Zezima and other people whove taken the time to get it so high do then?

heres an idea for fire making, flaming arrows

1 - light bronze arrow
15 - light iron
30 - light steel
45 - light mith
65 - light addy
80 - light rune

fire arrows have a +2-4 max hit?

there r flaming arrows, u can make them in underground pass, they just don't do anything...

u need flaming arrows to lower the bridge.

yea cuz then the desert treasure quest will have to change and same as others they will prob just add a scroll bar on skills like mage

Eh... these weren't my rumours... I've just seen them being posted on lots of other rs forums and I wanted to see what you guys thought of them

Perhaps you will be able to burn down you POH's? LOl
