I agree, we have that mail service group east on Ardougne zoo. To check your mail (when houses come out) there could be a mail box to check your mail.
In the mail you can send text and attack items -that you are giving to the reciever for free-
Possibly you could send a request to trade items e.g.

Person A sends a request to trade a dragon longsword for a dragon scimtar. (S)He attaches the dragon longsword.
Person B recieves the request (but does not get the dragon longsword). Person B decides to go along with the trade and replies 'yes' and attaches the dragon scimtar. Only when Person B hits confirm does (s)he get the dragon longsword and then Person A recieves the dragon scimtar in the mail.

Person A can cancel the request at any point (s)he wishes to.
Person B can decline the 'mail trade' when (s)he revieves it.

Does that sound ok?

It would be even nicer when you could make a system that you can sell items without being online. Or buying items when you're not online.

It would go like this. There is one person in the bank with a special booth. There you can say what items you want to sell/buy and what the minimum price should be and how many you want to buy/sell. Off course the person in the bank should get paid by you by let's say 5k each succesfull trade?

Off course this would be really hard to make. But you can make a system that divides everything under certain categories. OR you can make a system that you have to insert a name and then you can see the stuff he's selling/buying.

Scammers would just use this as an opportunity to cheat their way through the game...

There's a flaw in this.

What is stopping someone interacting with their own account?

I have Thedraken, and many others, but for this example lets say fryloko.

Thedraken sends a message to fryloko giving fryloko 1 rune pick, 1 rune hatchet, 2500 tin ore, 2500 copper ore, 5000 iron ore, 10000 coal and a hammer.

Fryloko gets A LOT of smithing exp for no work at all. And also breaks the rule that stops you from interacting with your own account.
