Make Drops Tradeable!!!!

Much as I hate having missed the zombie head yesterday, I don't think holiday drops should be tradeable. The people who have them hoard them for a few years, then ruin the market by selling them at ludicrously high prices.

I actually think they should be left untradable. But have npcs sell the items to every1. That way every1 has one and there is no abuse on prices.

I still cant believe a couple of years ago the red masks were only 500k. Now I dont even know...

alot of people will have them, as more people play, they will take a long long time to rise in price, and people would just try to rip others off, non tradeable drops are better.

I believe that they're around 5 mill (that's on halloween though, they might drop over the next few days) but i agree some of the prices are outrageous...

how long you can be with youre family??? the zombies here a whole week and the helloween is only at one night
when the santa was in RS... i dont remember good but i think he was here about 2weeks and the christmas is only 2 days or something so how you cant get that item????

You know what I think should happen?

They should make a holiday shop that adds to its inventory each holiday and sells party hats, santa hats, pumpkins, easter eggs, and masks.

Now, you're saying 'That'll crash Runescape economy'. Wrong.

What the Jagex Team can do is make a brand new item set of masks, party hats, etc (maybe improve them too) and replace the old ones for notes you can give to bankers for a said amount of cash (what they're worth). That way, no body will have to envy or complain about others being 'so lucky' and everyone will get the oppourtunity to wear something on their heads that had a great financial history. That would be cool too, wouldn't it?

The party hat market is going to crash into unaffordability anyways. They may as well save Runescape Player's wallets.

Yes! I think that it would be worthwhile. I only started playin RS in March and I really wish I had a Santa hat, but not so much that I'd PAY for one..since I can't afford it.

Well, Halloween is not an excuse, but what if in Christmas you go visit family away from home without access to Internet in your 2-week vacations?

Yeah, that's a great idea. Make the items untradeable, but have an NPC sell them. You can only buy one.... a year, and on a personal stock (ie. stock will be infinite to the public, but you can only get one)

Can't you take 15 minutes to get on the comp and get the holiday items?

And the holiday shop would ruin the holiday items' purposes. They were meant for fun and to let people know how long you have played for, not to buy holiday items for the sake of looking good.

some people cant. It used to be i was out of STATE for a week while visiting family..and those relatives had no computer. Lets look at this this way though...

1. the first way was good for those who could get online, bad for those who couldnt
2. people STILL gripe about signing up too late and missing the drops. deal with it.
3. number 1 has since made alot of items that have no real purpose increase to amounts that at least 80 percent of runescape has never even touched.
4. because of number 3, people getting tradeable holidays drops will hoard theirs for all eternity, and cause them to never rise in value, as they are common place.

alright..got that out of my system. Untill i am provoked again at least.
