Graphics Battle

I would appreciate it if you guys could add to sub-categories to the "Multimedia" section and the "Design Crew" section where people would have graphics battles. We would have a face off where to people would each post 3 sigs with a certain theme or image. Then the Referee's who will also be keeping these categories clean and free of spam and off topic posts would rate them and would have a winner. I would be the head of the Referee's and I will be keeping records of who wins and who loses. We don't have to make sigs for the winners but it would be a nice present. Also if anyone falsely displays there wins/losses in there sigs they will first receive two warnings then further action would be taken. I think it would be easy to find at-least 5 members of the Design Crew to rate the sigs in the battles and keep the categories clean. I hope the Mods and Admins of RSBandB take this into consideration.

So basically like the "People's Choice Awards" in a graphics fashion, since we already have the Oscars (SOTW)? But the flaw is that there can be people that will create multiple names to vote, as well as it will be a little hard to control.

Multiple names to vote? More detail please. Also I dont think it will be to hard to control. We could set a battle starter format that you must follow such as

Name:your username
Name of challenger:user name of person your challenging
How many sigs:usually 3
What types:like grunge vector tech
What themes:if you wanna have a theme such as american.
What program you must use: only if you want it to be like fair like if someones using a free program and someone else is using CS2 so it makes it fair

Also if the challenger doesnt post a graphic in return after three to five days it will be locked. Judging will automatically NO MATTER WHAT even if your not done judging will take place after eight to ten days so we can make room for other battles and battles that are just made out of the blue will be locked. Like if a new member makes his first post with a graphic made with paint that is above size limits and such.

This looks a bit complicated, and might be a lot to set up, however it is a good suggestion.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Maybe to try and get member to stray away from making spam posts to make the a tad bit more strict like. Instead of two warnings only one. Or if its a severe offense like spamming or or not follow rules set by the challenger then they will get a 1 day suspension. If they break the rule again they get banned from that section of the forum. Can you do that? Also I post here if your in the Design Crew and would like to be a "Referre: if this does get created so that we have proof that we will have people keeping the forum clean.

Any Admins looking into this? BTW Chris it takes me 5 seconds to put the color on my text at the most, but we all no Chris would rather not and save 5 seconds of his life :lol:

I don't see how this is much different then SOTW... but if you really do want something like this someone will have to organize a team to moderate it and set strict guidelines so it just doesn't turn to some spam forum.

When someone has a team of people ready you can come to me or shane with the proposal, same goes with any other kinds of groups other people would like to start. Sorry we don't have time to set up all these groups, we are working on other stuff for the site.
