Be rather refreshing to play as the Russians and not have them painted as evil bad guys for once.

First one is well worth playing if you haven't already. Probably cheap on steam. Has a much better campaign than Starcraft 2 anyway.

I'm really pleased with this. As a historian and avid gamer, developers have tended to stray from telling the Russian side of the story in WWII. The Russians took a way larger toll and did most of the grunt work during the war. It'll be interesting to see how well the game captures the story and realism of the war.

Agreed. Most people I talk to arrogantly believe that the U.S and Britain won the war against Germany and nothing I say will convince them that without the Soviet Union we most likely would've been defeated.

It'll be interesting to play this.
