i honestly feel that jagex is becoming a money sink and following the path of duke nukem.

one cancel project after another, millions wasted and nothing in return.

If they snagged the Transformers license, they're going to be making a decent bit of money. Figuring they launch sometime around when Transformers 3 comes out, they can time it so they make a boatload of cash.

Good on them for snagging a big label (Mattel), hope the game turns out well.

I know it's a quite old topic but for anyone who's slightly interested:

Jagex released a 2nd teaser trailer for their MMORPG Transformers Universe

They expect to start beta "soon" (we all know what that means) and finally launch the full game early 2012

They released a website and all the social media accounts with it. And they abandoned all of them almost a year ago. Rumor is that they're still working "hard" on it and that's in internal alpha testing. So I figure it would still take some time before they release that game.

Yeah, honestly I couldn't give much of a **** about this Transformers game. First of all, because I've been interested and waiting for like 2 years for Stellar Dawn and they push it aside like its nothing for this? Second, Jagex has become nothing but a sell-out. Obviously a business is about money, but they just want the quick buck and really have lost interest in customer satisfaction. (For example, ******* updates in RS and practically throwing Stellar Dawn on the back burner in order to collect the prize for making this game that will most likely go nowhere.) Idk, I guess we'll see.
