Do you think it'd be interesting to play one, where you see through the eyes of the enemy? (Imagine playing as the KillCam all the time in COD)

I have made one for Kongregate, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post it, as it's sort of self-advertising, sort of not. Either way, what do you think it'd be like to play one?

I don't think that would really make any sense. How would that work? Wouldn't it just be 1st person then?

Well, you play as a character, but see through the eyes of another character. The theory is sound, trust me.

Your character wouldn't always be in the enemies view though?

Ya...So I understand the theory, but it's a difficult concept to deal with. I mean, would you have your character do preset moves/actions and then see how they unfold? Would you be playing your character 1st person style, then switch to the enemy as soon as you got there? It's hard to see this as being something people would be interested in. I mean, it is all about the 1st and 3rd person...seeing it thought the main characters eyes.

well i wouldn't mind taking a look at having a second person shooter but the idea seems almost impossible to do well.

Maybe if you are on a team then you are viewing youself from your teamate.... Still, it would be pretty confusing, but it sounds interesting.

It certainly sounds like an interesting concept. Second-person viewpoints have been done in several games. TMNT on the SNES is the first that comes to mind (video (bad audio quality)).

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols

It would be easy enough to learn the story of a hero through the eyes of evil or something. Being the unknown killer sounds good. Unless you meant you are in some sort of weird gameplay where you are looking at yourself from another character being killed. The only way to do it would be to have cameras or something like that watching you from a distance.
