Well, you play as a character, but see through the eyes of another character. The theory is sound, trust me.

Ya...So I understand the theory, but it's a difficult concept to deal with. I mean, would you have your character do preset moves/actions and then see how they unfold? Would you be playing your character 1st person style, then switch to the enemy as soon as you got there? It's hard to see this as being something people would be interested in. I mean, it is all about the 1st and 3rd person...seeing it thought the main characters eyes.

It certainly sounds like an interesting concept. Second-person viewpoints have been done in several games. TMNT on the SNES is the first that comes to mind ( video (bad audio quality)).
