The Humble Indie Bundle is pretty much a bundle of 5 great indie games which you can buy for whatever you want. Meaning anything from a single penny to a thousand dollars. The money is donated to developers and/or charity (depending on your choice). I would highly suggest for some of you to spare couple of bucks considering that the bundle is $20 on Steam and the game are terrific. To my own surprise I still only touched World of Goo and it is a highly addictive game. So cough up whatever you can and remember that the money is going towards a greater cause ;)

Yea, I mentioned it in the PC Gaming Event thread, and even snagged 4 extra codes to pass out over the next few weeks.

Great deal, and I'm glad I bought a few copies. Love to support this type of thing, though I wish I could have paid a bit more for each code.. Unfortunately, college life does not leave buckets of cash lying around :(

Haven't heard of these games before, but the idea behind the promotion sounds really good. They should do more things like this for new developers and designers.

Lol people was actually pirating this bundle. They'd rather pirate it than pay a single penny to charity.

But why do those money hungry developers and charities need MY pennys?! Capitalist pigs just want more money, why give it to them?

About 5 hours from this posting, the deal will be closed. 4/5 of the initial games will be open sourced soon, so if you want to compile them, go ahead. World of Goo, the main game IMO, will not be open sourcing.

If you don't want to pay, or if you missed out, come to the PC Gaming Event in the upcoming weeks. I've got a few codes to pass out, one of which will be after this next week's Counter-Strike: Source [GunGame] event.

I bought it, but excluding World of Goo, they were all pretty low quality games. It was cool though that they added Samorost 2 later, as the first was kinda neat, and I love Machinarium.
