Battlefield Bad Company

Battlefield Bad Company is an amazing game. You are in a squad of 4 soldiers, Sarge, Sweetwater, Haggard, and Marlo Preston (you). After you "accidentally" cross into a neutral zone, the United States Army drops them, taking no responsibility. Then you find out there's gold. Lot's of gold. Then you head crazy through half of Russia to find some.

What do people who have played it think?
I personally like the first one better then the newly released Sequal. So?

Since the original BC wasn't for PC I wasn't able to play it. I saw videos though.

I have BC2 on the PC. It's amazing, but the hit detection could be worked on more.
For singleplayer the campaign was okay, some plot holes but nonetheless good. Remember: You don't play a Battlefield game for the singleplayer.

I heard the second one was pretty bomb. Anyway, I haven't got around to playing it, but the story sounds cool and it doesn't look that bad itself. Pretty on par with other modern games graphics wise and content wise. I'll think about getting it this year.

I dunno, I found that the second one held my attention a lot better than the first one. I'm down to only playing BC2 or NHL 10 out of my 30 games or so that are on my backlog.
